If you are considering submitting a proposal to Meytav, please read this section carefully beforehand, to ensure that both parties are compatible.     


Any company considered by Meytav will ungergo a strict and comprehensive screening process, outlined here. For a detailed flowchart diagram of the process, please go to the bottom of this page.

Applying projects should initially consider their viability in the following criteria:

  ~ Scientific
  ~ Technological
  ~ Commercial
  ~ Financial
 

Stage 1 - Go or No-Go      
Initial proposals are examined by the Meytav Management team, and relevant consultants, and a decision is made whether to progress or not. 

Stage 2 - Initial Meeting                 
A meeting is held with the proposal's author and a request for detailed information is made, and the application formally enters the process. 

Stage 3 - References and Due Dilligence         
At this point an indepth due dilligence analysis is made of the project, which includes a thorough checking of references and track record of the proposed project team. A detailed scientific and technological analysis is carried out, and at the same time potential business models and strategic partners are identified. 

Stage 4 - Work Plan      
The practical issues are now prepared as a work plan, concerning time frames, targets and budgets. When this is ready, terms and conditions will be negotiated, and final preparations are made for official submission of the project. 

Stage 5 - Approvals                  
The project and team will go before the relevant Steering Committee affiliated to Meytav. If approved, the project will then go before the Meytav Board of Directors, who will decide whether to pass it on for the approval of the Office of the Chief Scientist. 


All stages are thorough and exhaustive, and the entire screening process can take upto three months.
